2026 Arctic Winter Games Territorial Trials

NWT Soccer is pleased to announce that registration for the 2026 Arctic Winter Games Territorial Trials is now open. Trials will be held in Yellowknife and surrounding communities from January 7-11, 2026. 

Key Territorial Trials Information:

1. Athlete: Select the age category that your birthdate falls within. Coach/Chaperone: Select any applicable age category you are coaching/chaperoning

2. Register online via appropriate participant link by visiting: https://www.sportnorth.com/teamnt

3. Pay via the below 3 options:

   • Online via below payment link

   • E-Transfer to: finance@sportnorth.com NOTE: payee must identify name of participant and sport you are sending the registration fee for

   • In Person at Sport North: 1st Floor - Don Cooper Building, 4908 49th Street, Yellowknife

4. Deadline

   • November 30th 2025, 11:59 pm: Coaches and Athletes: submit forms, payment, registration, CRC or EPIC (if athlete is 18 years or older)or VSC (coaches)???

   • December 10th 2025, 5:00 pm: Chaperone: submit forms, payment, registration and VSC

5. Receive communication from TSO AND Regional Coordinator of complete registration

6. Attend Territorial Trials: January 7th-11th 2026

Please find attached the General Futsal Territorial Trials Information Package

Trials will be held at both the Fieldhouse and St. Pat’s School Gym. This package contains all key and necessary information, including venue details, trial expectations, and important procedures. The trial schedule is included below and attached for your reference.

All athletes are required to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their scheduled session to allow time for check-in.

All athletes will be evaluated by NWT Soccer-appointed evaluators. Attached is the Player Evaluation Form that will be used for all athletes during the trials. In accordance with the Arctic Winter Games Handbook, parents and guardians are permitted to request a copy of their athlete’s evaluation form up to two weeks after the trials, which is January 26, 2026.

Final roster announcements for the U16 Female and Male teams, as well as the U18 Male team, will be made at 9:00 AM on January 12, 2026.
